Victims Of Brawls In Tangerang Experience Burns On The Face Due To Waterfall

TANGERANG - Police arrested 6 teenagers who were suspected of carrying out a brawl, resulting in a victim with the initials IEP (23) suffering a stab wound.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the incident occurred in Barata Housing, Pondok Pucung, Karang Tengah, Tangerang City, Monday, December 4, in the early hours of the morning.

"We secure the MA (17), RLY (15) and MF (15) as students, then NAM (25), DE (24) and MA (28) suspected of being the perpetrators of stabbing and pouring hard water from the opposing party," said Zain in his statement, Tuesday, December 5.

Zain explained that the incident began when the JAHA 71 group against the SBS group promised on social media to take action. Arriving at the location, they attacked each other until finally the victim suffered stab wounds and was doused with hard water.

The victim was stabbed in the thigh and burns on his face after being doused with hard water. The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical help," he said.

The brawl was also known by residents after seeing CCTV at the crime scene (TKP). It was then reported to the police.

Armed with CCTV footage and statements from a number of witnesses, the police arrested the perpetrators of the brawl. In addition, they found a number of sharp weapons (sajam) that were allegedly used when advancing the brawl.

"(Currently, the perpetrators are being investigated at the Ciledug Police for the development of other suspected perpetrators and looking for other evidence," he concluded.
