Jayapura Regency Government Ensures Security Guarantee For Health Workers At 22 Health Centers
SENTANI - The Jayapura Regency Government (Pemkab), Papua ensured that health workers in 22 health centers spread across 19 local districts were guaranteed security.
Head of the Jayapura District Health Office Khairul Lie said that the involvement of the TNI-Polri in supporting health service tasks is still very much needed.
"Papua, if I'm honest, the level of security is still far maintained, both in terms of Mountains and Central Papua," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 4.
According to Khairul, the people of Jayapura Regency have a great sense of love for government officials, especially health.
"The large community support in Jayapura Regency is so large that health services can reach a maximum of 139 villages and five sub-districts," he said.

To bring health workers to the villages is not something that easily needs the support of all parties, especially the local community.
"We have to think about the budget, infrastructure for health workers to stay in the village, we think about it hard, so community support is very important," he said.
He said all health care plans and programs could be achieved as long as security was well maintained.
"Who is security, yes local people who can protect health workers so that health services can run well," he said.
