NTB Police Handle Reports Of Police Members Allegedly Rape Of Student
The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police handled a report of a member of the National Police with the initials TO (26) with the rank of Brigadier who was suspected of raping a student with the initials PU (20).
Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police, Kombes Teddy Ristiawan, said that the handling of the report that came from the victim had been included in the examination agenda.
"So the follow-up to the report received last week, we are planning a request for information from the reported party and the reporter," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 4.
In handling the report, Teddy emphasized that his party still prioritizes a professional attitude, even though the reported party in this case is a member of the National Police.
"If the reported party is later proven guilty, the legal process will be carried out as it should," said Teddy.
The victim's attorney, M. Tohri Azhari, explained that this rape case occurred in the victim's boarding house which belonged to the reported party, Friday (12/24).
The reported carried out the action by visiting the victim who was in the boarding house. The mode reported was pretending to ask for the convenience of the victim, who had only rented the boarding house for three months.

Tohri said that at first the victim was not suspicious because he already knew the reported person who was good and had a family, but suddenly the reported approached the victim and launched a forced action.
Regarding the chronology of the rape incident, Tohri said the victim had put it in the investigation report before the police.
"So, the chronology of events experienced by our client has been conveyed. We hope this case can be revealed," he said.
