Hanyut Restaurant Employees In Kali Sasak Tangerang, South Tangerang BPBD Deploy 2 Karet Boats

TANGERANG - An employee of a restaurant named Mohamad Shohibul Huda (32) was reported to have drowned in the flow of Sasak River, Kedaung, Ciputat.

The Head of Emergency and Logistics of the South Tangerang BPBD, Fahrizal Gumay, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Monday, December 4, in the early hours of the morning.

"That's right, it is suspected that people were swept away/drowned," said Gumay when confirmed, Monday, December 4.

Gumay explained that the incident began when the victim and his friends wanted to close their food stall. The victim headed behind his shop, suddenly disappeared.

The witness was at the location and only found a pair of sandals belonging to Huda lying on the bridge.

After being traced through CCTV footage, the victim apparently had time to go down to the river flow before finally sinking at around 02.06 WIB. It is suspected that the victim, because he fell.

"Tiba tiba korban ke belakang kali dan mengambil benda yang terjatuh Either sandals enam barang lainnya," katanya

Currently, his party is looking for the victim's whereabouts. Two rubber boats were deployed, to facilitate the search for victims.

"Two rubber boats were deployed," he concluded.
