Queen Thasha Says Media Is Also The Key To The Success Of Indonesia's 2023 U-17 World Cup

SOLO - Synergy between stakeholders at the central and regional levels is the key to the successful implementation of the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia. This was revealed by PSSI Deputy General Chair, Ratu Thasha Destria during a press conference at the U-17 World Cup Information Center in Solo, Friday, December 1, 2023.

Ratu Thasha said the media also played an important role during the 2023 U-17 World Cup. The intense media coverage made the championship continue to be followed by the public. The media is part of a synergy for its implementation.

"Once again, thank you to the media and Kominfo (Ministry of Communication and Information) for completing this synergy for the smooth performance of our event, the first FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament in Indonesia," said Ratu Tisha.

Representing the chairman of PSSI, Ratu Tisha also expressed her gratitude for the cooperation and smart work of all parties. From the preliminary round to the final, there were no extraordinary events that could affect the implementation.

"This is all thanks to the synergy and togetherness of stakeholders. This is a very important lesson from the U-17 World Cup for the development of Indonesian football," he said.

According to Thasha, when all parties have a sense of responsibility as a nation, from the center and regions will do their best, then all the results will be good.

This is evident from 52 matches, 50 of which have been completed in four stadiums, namely, the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Si Jalak Harupat (Bandung), Gelora Bung Tomo (Surabaya), and Manahan (Solo).

"Without significant obstacles. When there is a problem, in an event it will certainly not be smooth. There must be. But the most important thing is how the handling is done quickly, carefully and best," he said.

"Saat ini kita sudah selesai. Deliverable kita 51 pertandingan dari 52 pertandingan dan itu adalah satu prestasi yang luar biasa bagi Indonesia. Bukan bagi PSSI, tapi bagi Indonesia untuk kita semua," kata Ratu Tisha.

Not to forget, he again thanked all the media crew and football fans in Indonesia who also supported this event until it went smoothly.

"Thank you to my media friends too. Without you guys as well as without our fans," he said.

"I want us to continue to be driven if there are no media friends who celebrate and enliven us from the LOC, we will not be able to do our best at work," he said.

On that occasion, Tisha again said that all teams competing agreed to consider the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia to be one of the best.

All of them also agreed to praise the quality of the field, both those used to compete and training places. Including praise for service and hospitality.

"So it's actually for us the highest praise we can get is coming from the competing team," he said.
