Trying Alva Cervo's Resilience In The Capital City, Futuristic Design Gahar
JAKARTA - Alva Indonesia confirmed its presence in the country's electric motorcycle segment by launching two models, Alva One and Cervo, which appeared with attractive designs.
The VOI team had the opportunity to try one of its models for several days, namely Cervo, which is claimed by manufacturers to cover a distance of 125 km and a maximum speed of 103 km/hour of motorcycles.
We carried out this test around Jakarta to feel the sensation of driving directly, from the comfort of the suspension to the resulting staff.

Striking Design
Alva Cervo displays a striking design, inspired by the Italian style with each curve. Its futuristic body is equipped with an attractive LED light, showing a unique character. The side and especially the back of the bike looks modern, suitable for various groups, especially young people who want a stylized look.
Alva Cervo's color choices are also quite diverse, including Supernova Black, Halo White, Edgy Turquoise, Mars Copper, and Nebula Green. And interestingly, there is no need to worry when it floods, with the design and anti-flood technology that protects the battery when it floods to a water level of 50 cm.
Driving with a height of 165 cm, Alva Cervo's driving position is relatively comfortable, even though his feet did not tread perfectly when the motorbike stopped. The position of the hand to the handlebar also feels comfortable.
The VOI team tried to bulldoze Jakarta's congestion and felt a winding sensation, finding that this motorbike is comfortable to overtake plus there is a feature that helps for this. Meanwhile, the wide rear tire also provides stability while driving. However, the suspension is quite hard when crossing a bumpy road or sleeping police.
Another is when trying to ride, although there is no problem for close range, the experience becomes uncomfortable when traveling a bit far, especially for rear passengers. The position of the passenger's back seat is too advanced, so it often causes contact between his legs and the driver's feet when he stops, such as in congestion conditions. In addition, the seat for the rear passenger feels not long enough, providing limited seat comfort.
Complete Alva Cervo features offer a variety of features for users' convenience, including three driving modes: eco, urban, and sport. Each mode offers a different pull. There is also a boost mode that provides extra power for various road conditions.
The TFT instrument screen provides an interesting display and contains important information about the remaining battery capacity and different vehicle distances when choosing different driving modes, travel history, as well as live tracking and road assistance. And this motorbike can also connect with smartphones to see these various informations.
Other features include backward mode, which makes it easier for users to get out of a narrow or parking lot but need to be careful because it requires adjustment and maintaining balance.

Alva Cervo uses a battery with a capacity of 1.8 kWh that can be removed. With two batteries, this motor produces a power of 9.8 kW or about 13.1 Tk, with torques reaching 53.5 Nm. The peak speed reaches 103 km/hour, and the battery range is up to 125 km with two batteries.
Well, when the VOI team tried to speed up by trying out sports mode plus activating a booster feature that could be used for 20 seconds, the pull from the large energy and torque of this motorbike was felt.
Prices and Guarantees
Alva Cervo's electric motor price is IDR 37,750,000 for one battery and IDR 42,750,000 for two batteries after deducting a subsidy of IDR 7 million. Alva provided three-year battery guarantees and spare parts guarantees for two years or up to a distance of 20,000 km.
The overall Alva Cervo conclusion provides a comfortable driving experience, especially with abundant features. The design of this motorbike is also very interesting. A little problem is when you are carried away for a long distance, besides that the suspension is classified as hard, but can still be tolerated.
