Pursuing Year-End Targets, EMI Expects Fulfillment Of The Mazda Power Drive Program
JAKARTA - PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), as a brand holding agent (APM) from Mazda in Indonesia, managed to record retail sales of 4,155 units during January-October 2023, according to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo).
Pramita Sari, as Marketing & Communications General Manager of PT EMI, said that it has a target to reach 5,000 units by the end of the year and it is hoped that the 2023 'Mazda Power Drive' event can encourage the sale.
This year we have set a target of 5,000 units. To achieve this, this is why we held the 'Mazda Power Drive 2023', by encouraging the sale of all models to be offered to consumers," Pramita told VOI after the launch of the 'Mazda Power Drive 2023' in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 29.
He added that what distinguishes the 'Mazda Power Drive 2023' program from other automotive events is that the program offers all models to be tested on consumers and will offer an unforgettable experience.
"Usually events like GIIAS are limited in the availability of models for test drives, while at this event consumers can try all models. Starting from Mazda2 to MX-5, coupled with an improved version presented for other models," said Pramita.
Mazda's retail sales this year experienced a decline by reaching 375 units in October or 30 percent lower than September (536 units) and a decrease of 10.3 percent compared to last year in the same period (418 units).
However, sales over the past ten months of the manufacturer based in Hiroshima, Japan, increased by 42.6 percent when compared to last year's acquisition in the same period (2,913 units).
