Students In South Tangerang Were Hacked By Robbers Who Tried To Confiscate Cellphones On The Side Of The Road
TANGSEL - A student with the initials RG (16) suffered a stab wound while trying to defend his cellphone from a gang of robbers in the Keranggan area, Setu, South Tangerang.
Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Iptu Wendi, said the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, November 29.
"It is true about cases of violent theft accompanied by slashing," said Wendy in her statement, Thursday, November 30.
The incident began when the victim was playing with his cellphone on the side of the road. Suddenly approached by three perpetrators who wanted to grab the victim's cellphone.
"The victim tried to maintain and there was an attractive tug so that he managed to keep his cellphone. But one other perpetrator slashed the victim's head with a machete," he said.
Spontaneously the victim screamed in pain and asked local residents for help. The perpetrator managed to escape from the scene without bringing any results.

The police, who received the information, rushed to the crime scene (TKP). Meanwhile, the victim's colleague, namely RN, was directed to make a police report.
"Currently, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cisauk Police is still hunting for the perpetrators and collecting evidence and directing the victim to make a police report to the Cisauk Police," he concluded.
