BNN Banda Aceh Failed To Send 80 Kg Of Dried Cannabis Through Expeditionary Services
BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh City National Narcotics Agency (BNN) thwarted the shipment of 80 kilograms of dried marijuana outside the area through an expedition service.The head of the Banda Aceh BNN, Kombes Beridiansyah, said that the failure to send prohibited goods was based on public information."The public informed that there was a shipment of 80 kilograms of marijuana to Java Island through an expedition service on Wednesday," said Beridiansyah in Banda Aceh, Antara, Thursday, November 30.Based on this information, the Banda Aceh City BNN team immediately went to the delivery service office and checked four boxes of goods to be sent out of Aceh Province."After being examined, it turned out that the contents of the goods were in the form of dried marijuana. The total weight of the marijuana to be sent reached more than 80 kilograms. The team immediately secured it to the Banda Aceh City BNN Office for further investigation," he said.The former Head of the Aceh Province BNN Eradication and Intelligence Division added that his party was still investigating who the owner and sender of the goods were. Some information regarding who sent the goods has been pocketed.Therefore, Beridiansyah appealed to the sender of the goods to immediately surrender. The BNN team together with other law enforcement officers will continue to pursue the owner and sender of the tens of kilograms of dried marijuana.
"We invite the public to support BNN's efforts to eradicate drug trafficking and abuse and support the disclosure of the marijuana shipment," said Beridiansyah.
