3 Meanings Deeply For Ganjar-Mahfud Campaign In Sabang And Merauke

JAKARTA - Candidate pairs (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres) number 3, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD (Ganjar-Mahfud), chose to start campaigns in Sabang, Aceh Province and Merauke, Papua Province, on Tuesday 28 November.

Despite being in separate places, Ganjar chose in Merauke, and Mahfud in Sabang, implying three meanings.

First, inspired by the national anthem from Sabang to Merauke. The Ganjar campaign, centered in Semangga District, Waninggap Nanggo, Semangga District, Merauke Regency, Papua. Mahfud's campaign was held at Pasi Jaboi, Kec. Sukajaya, Sabang City, Aceh.

Ganjar-Mahfud sent a strong message that despite the presence of Ganjar in Merauke and Mahfud in Sabang, the two connect Indonesia from the west to the east end.

Second, it implies the 3rd precept of Pancasila: Indonesian Unity. Paslon number 3 is committed to advancing all Indonesian people through equitable development in villages and cities, as well as from the west end to the end of Eastern Indonesia.

Third, the starting point. Ganjar chose a campaign from a village in Merauke, Papua, which was the earliest place to welcome the sun, a place where the people started their work and business at the earliest.

This is the first day we enter the campaign period. We deliberately chose two points in Indonesia. One is at the east end of the sunrise, the one is at the west end. Because we want Indonesian unity to be like the 3rd precept, "said Ganjar.

Meanwhile, Mahfud started a campaign from Sabang, in Aceh, which is the westernmost place in Indonesia, and has become the entrance to the archipelago in the past.

"This is also the starting point for the establishment of the first Islamic empire in the archipelago," said Mahfud.

It is known that the Ganjar-Mahfud pair was promoted by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), and the People's Conscience Party (Hanura).
