Adhi Karya Aims For 30 Percent Revenue From The ESG Project In 2024
JAKARTA - The state-owned issuer PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) plans to increase the value of the company by focusing new projects on the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) sector for 2024.
Adhi Karya President Director Entus Asnawi Mukhson said the project in the sustainable sector is predicted to provide a recurring income of around 30 percent to the company.
"I think to increase Adhi Karya's value going forward, we will focus more on ESG. So, this will have an impact on recurring income to us of approximately 30 percent of its profit," Entus said at the Public Expose Live 2023 online, quoted Tuesday, November 28.
Entus claimed that his party had started projects in the ESG sector itself, such as Refuses Derived Fuel (RDF) in Bantar Gebang, Bekasi, West Java, Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG) in Sumbawa, to mangrove nursery areas during the G20 in Bali.
"We have actually started the form of the project, such as we are starting to develop and build integrated waste management facilities or integrated waste management facilities in Medan, we have also entered the water sector, and now one of our plans is for waste management in IKN," he said.
Furthermore, Entus hopes that all projects in the ESG sector that have been started and developed by Adhi Karya can run well in the future.
"Hopefully this can still work, so we are more interested in exploring in those sectors," he added.
