Central Jakarta City Government Asks ASN To Be Neutral Not Pro Right Left

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Central Jakarta, Dhany Sukma, said that the neutrality of ASN in the Central Jakarta area must be maintained without taking sides with any group.

"ASN must be neutral, not pro to right or left. We function as supporters in holding the 2024 General Election," said Dhany during the Peace Election with the KPU, Bawaslu, and the leadership of regional political parties at the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office, Monday, November 27.

According to Dhany, this activity was carried out in order to welcome the campaign period which will take place from November 28 to February 10, 2024.

Dhany also hopes that the Central Jakarta City Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimko) can oversee the implementation of elections, especially in Central Jakarta, so that it runs smoothly to strengthen the order and integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.

"This is a political process, a democratic process, so we must all be able to respect and support so that the implementation can run well," he said.

Dhany added, this activity is an illustration of the situation that developed ahead of the 2024 General Election. What must be watched out for and should not be carried out by election participants.

"The election process, the democratic process is very important but what is more important is how we maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
