Target Foreign Investors, KISI AM Launches New Products Of Exchange Trade Fund Funds
JAKARTA - PT KISI Asset Management or KISI AM launched a new product of mutual funds Exchange Trade Fund (ETF), namely KISI IDX30 ETF.
KISI AM President Director Mustofa said the IDX30 ETF KISI Index mutual fund was an ETF with an IDX30 index reference. Where, the index measures the price performance of 30 stocks that have high liquidity and large market capitalization, and is supported by good corporate fundamentals.
Meanwhile, the index is designed to provide a representative picture of the overall performance of the Indonesian stock market. Shares participation in this index is based on a number of criteria, such as market capitalization, liquidity, and other relevant factors.
Mustofa said that his party always tries to see new opportunities to offer investment products to global investors representing the Indonesian market.
According to him, Indonesia has an advantage in the commodity and banking sector so that it can be an opportunity to offer investment products with a portfolio of these sectors.
Mustofa hopes that the launch of this new product will be able to repeat the success of the previous mutual fund product offered, namely KISI MSCI Indonesia ETF.
The product is claimed to have received a positive response and has succeeded in attracting the attention of global investors, especially in Korea. "We try again, who knows, it can be successful to be taken abroad," he said at a press conference, Friday, November 24.
Previously, KISI AM had offered KISI IDX Value30 ETF Index and MSCI Indonesia ETF KISI Index mutual funds. Thus, KISI AM has issued three ETF mutual fund products.
Mustofa conveyed that the target fund for management or asset under management (AUM) of KISI IDX30 ETF products is IDR 50 billion to IDR 100 billion in 2024.

Meanwhile, KISI AM Director Arfan Fasry Karniody added that later this year KISI AM will plan to issue another product.
However, he has not been able to detail detailed information regarding the product.
"We still have one more secret, namely there will be another mutual fund launch, hopefully next month it can be launched, so that next year we can start selling. We see the public interest is high, but there must be product recognition," he said.
