Lionel Scaloni Wants To Leave The Argentine National Team

JAKARTA - Agentina coach, Lionel Scaloni, suddenly expressed his desire to resign. He said the plan was after bringing Argentina a 1-0 win over Brazil in the big match of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Zone Conmebol.

"Now, it's all very complicated to win. Now we're always difficult to win. So, I need to think about it. I'm going to talk to the Federation (Argentine Football) president and players," Scaloni said again.

Scaloni achieved success while dealing with Lionel Messi et al. Previously, he handled Argentina U-20.

However, Scaloni was only briefly in the junior national team before replacing Jorge Sampaoli in 2018.

He then led Argentina to win the Copa America in 2021. At its peak, this 45-year-old coach led Argentina to win the 2022 World Cup.
