Bringing The World Peace Mission To Greece, Vice President Ma'ruf Schedules To Meet Archbishop Ieronymos II
JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin brought a world peace mission during a working visit (kunker) to Greece on November 22-24.
During his visit, the Vice President is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the state, the leadership of parliament, and the Greek Archbishop Ieronymos II.
"At this visit, the Vice President specifically brought a world peace mission which was also carried out through his planned meeting with the Greek Archbishop Ieronymos II," wrote a written statement from the Vice President Ma'ruf on arrival in Athens, Greece, Wednesday, November 22 morning local time.
The vice president who was accompanied by his wife, Wury Ma'ruf Amin, and a limited delegation arrived at Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, Athens, Greece, Wednesday morning at around 06.00 local time or 11.00 Indonesian time.
The cool air and heavy rain accompanied the arrival of Vice President Ma'ruf who was greeted by the Head of the Protocol Department of Greece Ambassador Aglaia Balta, Indonesian Ambassador Athena Bebeb AK Nugraha Djundjunan and his wife Stevanny Djundjunan, and Rome Defense Attache Marine Colonel (P) Aminuddin Albek along with wife of Irma Febrawati Bima.
An interesting moment occurred when the Vice President and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma'ruf Amin arrived at the inn to spend the night. In addition to being greeted by officials and staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Athens, the Vice President received an interest that was handed over by two representatives of Indonesian children in Athens, namely Fanouria Georgia Papadopulou (7 years) and Avicenna Farisprawa Virgianto (10 years).
On Wednesday or the first day of his working visit to Greece, Vice President Ma'ruf is scheduled to meet Deputy Chair 1 of the Greek Parliament Ioanis Plakiotakis at Hellenic Parliament.
