Commission V Of The House Of Representatives Calls The Wheel Of The Jabodebek LRT Fast Aus Because The Arch Bridge Is Not In Accordance With
JAKARTA - The chairman of Commission V of the DPR, Lasarus, said that the case of the Jabodebek Integrated Highway (LRT) was not built according to the recommendation. The Jabodebek LRT itself has only been operating for about two months.
The Jabodebek LRT arch bridge in the Kuningan area has also been in the public spotlight. This is because the arch is very sharp and was also called a design error.
This was conveyed by Ladarus in the Commission V Working Meeting with the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of PUPR, Korlantas Polri, BMKG, and Basarnas in order to discuss preparations for the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 21.
Lasarus admitted that he received a report on the condition of the Jabodebek LRT wheel which was fast. However, he admitted that he had not conducted a direct review to see the condition of the Jabodebek LRT train.
"There is information that we received but this is still just a submission, we have not conducted a field review and a meeting with experts that the arch made by the LRT operator is not in accordance with the recommendations submitted by the Ministry, thus making this wheel speedy," Lasarus said in a meeting.
Lasarus mengatakan sebagai moda transportasi terbaru, LRT Jabodebek ini akan banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat pada masa libur Natal 2023 dan Tahun Baru 2024. Karena itu, Lasarus meminta agar Kementerian Perhubungan memperhatikan lebih lanjut kasus ausnya roda kereta tersebut.
"Because this LRT is also one of the things that will be widely used when people are off. I think we also need attention," he said.

For your information, the Jabodebek LRT is currently still operating on a limited basis because it is still using nine series of trains. This is because as a series, you have to enter a workshop and undergo a maintenance process.
The Director General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation, Risal Wasal, said that the Jabodebek LRT operator had procured additional bubut machines so that it could speed up the wheel repair process.
