8 Ultrasmania Supporters Become Suspects Of Chaos, 4 Minors
Gresik Police, East Java, named eight Ultrasmania supporters as suspects for the riots with the police at the Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium (GJS) Gresik, Sunday, November 19 evening. The four suspects are against the law (ABH), and the remaining four are adults.
"This supporter damaged the stadium facilities and threw stones and wood at security officers. This resulted in the injury of members of the National Police," said Gresik Police Chief AKBP Adhitya Panji Anom during a press release at the Gresik Police Headquarters, Tuesday, November 21.
The eight suspects each had the initials FJ, 24, a resident from Gapurosukolilo Village, Gresik District, JH, 20, a resident from Kedanyang Village, Kebomas District, MT, 49, from Kebungson Village, Gresik, S, 26, from Cerme District. While the other four suspects are ABH. "All the suspects are Gresik residents," he said.
The determination of the suspect, continued Adhitya, after the police pocketed evidence that they had started processing the crime scene, examining witnesses, taking CCTV and other evidence. According to him, the incident was triggered by the disappointment of supporters who wanted to protest to management, after losing 1-2 to Deltras Sidoarjo.
"There were 15 people suspected of being the perpetrators of this riot, until a case was carried out and identified 8 suspects," he said.
