Porn For Pyros Announces New Separation Tour And EP

JAKARTA - The Los Angeles alternative rock unit, Porno For Pyros will start its farewell tour in 2024.

After a 26-year tour break, Perry Farrell, Stephen totaling, and Peter DisStefano began the journey of 16 cities, manufactured by Live Nation, on February 13 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California.

Stopping across North America in Los Angeles, California; Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; Toronto, Ontario; Boston, Massachusetts; New York and many more before ending in Montclair, New Jersey at The Wellmont Theater on March 10.

Thirty years since their self-titled album, Porn For Pyros has also started debuting new music including a new single with ocean themed, Agua, which was released on November 16 yesterday.

"Now we are here, and the same heart, the same desire to make music together, has returned. Gathering with these people is the most enjoyable and happiest time of my life," Farrell shared his joy at the tour.

Originally inspired by the band members' close encounter with dolphins on a surf journey around the world in the 90s, Agua reflected the concern of their contemporary environment.

This single is part of the upcoming EP, which will be released next year ahead of the tour.

Last year there was a reunion of the original members of this band, namely Perry Farrell, Stephen Total, Peter DiStefano and Martyn LeNoble for performances sold out at Pereco at DTLA.

Since then, they have appeared at Welcome To Rockville, Chicago Metro followed by live performances at Lollapalooza.
