Canadian PM Trudeau Says Israel Must End Baby Murder In Gaza, Netanyahu: Responsible Hamas
JAKARTA - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the killing of infants and children in Israel-perturbed Gaza should end, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu answered criticism of his country by blaming it on Palestinian militant group Hamas.
Canada says Israel has the right to defend itself against Hamas, after the group's attack on the southern region of its country killed about 1,400 people and caused 240 others to be held hostage.
However, as death toll continues to rise and injuries in Gaza, Canada, such as the United States and other allies, expressed concern over the conditions. Gaza's health authorities say some 11,000 people have died since the conflict broke out last month, of which 40 percent of those killed were said to be children.
"I urge the Israeli government to exercise maximum restraint. The world is watching, on TV, on social media, we are listening to the testimonies of doctors, family members, survivors, children who have lost their parents," PM Trudeau said. November 15.

"The world is witnessing the murder of women, children and babies. This must stop," he said at a press conference in British Columbia.
On the other hand, PM Trudeau also said Hamas must stop using Palestinians as human shields, and release all its hostages.
In response to this, PM Benjamin Netanyahu said it was not Israel that deliberately targeted civilians with guns, Hamas routines that stripped, burned and slaughtered civilians.
"It's Hamas, it's not Israel that has to be responsible for committing multiple war crimes, targeting civilians while hiding behind civilians," he wrote in X, citing The Times of Israel.

It is known that three of the 39 premature babies treated at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza died, after the hospital ran out of fuel to turn on the generator so that the baby incubators remained on the weekend.
Meanwhile, the lives of 36 other babies in the hospital are also in danger, there is no clear mechanism for relocation, although Israel is said to be trying to provide an incubator for evacuation.
