Pidie Police Reveal Case Of Medical Devices Theft At Health Office
BANDA ACEH - Pidie Police uncovered a case of theft of dozens of medical devices belonging to the Pidie Regency Health Service (Dinkes).
"From this case and the motorbike theft case, we have arrested six perpetrators," said Pidie Police Chief AKBP Imam Asfali as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 13.
Imam Asfali said that the stolen health equipment consisted of 20 oxygen cylinders, 22 oxygen regulators and one LCD TV which were stored in a storage warehouse belonging to the local health service.
The oxygen cylinder was previously stolen on Tuesday (9/8) evening by breaking into a warehouse window, and transported in stages using a pedicab.
After that, the stolen goods were taken to the Sigli City terminal counter to be sent to Nanda alias Koncet as the collector of the used goods.
"The theft of medical equipment was carried out by three perpetrators, namely IS (48), MG (22), a resident of the Bengkel Block and R (37), a resident of Perumnas Gajah Ayee (Pidie)," he said.
Meanwhile, the theft of three motorbikes in different places, said Imam, was carried out by three other perpetrators, namely Km (44), a resident of Indra Jaya, UK (47), a resident of Batee, and Jz (28), a resident of Padang Tiji.

The robbery occurred in Gampong Keutapang on Monday (21/6), in Batee on Tuesday (23/5) and in Gampong Beurabo on Sunday (25/6), all within the jurisdiction of the Pidie Police.
"We charge the six perpetrators of the theft with articles 363 and 362, which carry a maximum penalty of seven years in prison," said AKBP Imam Asfali.
