Firli Bahuri Will Be Examined Tomorrow, Metro Police Chief: We'll Just See If We Come Or Not
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto said his party would wait for KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri's presence to provide information.
Firli is scheduled to undergo examination as a witness in the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL, Tuesday, November 14.
"The basis for the call tomorrow, we'll see if it's coming tomorrow or not," Karyoto told reporters, Monday, November 13.
Regarding Firli Bahuri who also has an agenda for examination at the KPK Supervisory Council (Dewas) on the same day, Karyoto could not comment much.
It was only conveyed that he would confirm it first with investigators from the Corruption Sub-Directorate of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate regarding this matter.
"Later, I will ask the Dirkrimsus, we have not coordinated with the Council. If those who are really insulated from the Metro Police for tomorrow's call," said Karyoto.

Firli Bahuri is scheduled to provide additional information at Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, November 14. The examination is the result of rescheduling after the KPK chairman is absent on the grounds of official activities on Tuesday, November 7.
"(The examination) is scheduled for an additional examination or request for information on Tuesday, November 14, 2023," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak.
The investigative team is said to have sent the letter and has been received by the KPK. It is planned that the investigation will take place around 10:00 WIB.
"FB as the Chairman of the Indonesian KPK to be questioned for additional information as a witness in the examination room of the Corruption Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya," said Ade.
Meanwhile, the temporary development of the investigation into the alleged extortion case against Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Polda Metro Jaya has examined around 70 witnesses.
Not only witnesses, in an effort to resolve this alleged extortion case, investigators also asked for information from five experts.
The experts are, one micro expression expert, three criminal law experts, and one procedural law expert.
In this case, it is suspected that there was a criminal act of Article 12 letter e, Article 12 letter B and or Article 11 of the Corruption Act Junto Article 65 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
