Bulukumba Police Seize 71 Liters Of Alcohol Ballo
Bulukumba Police, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) held a control operation by securing 71 liters of local ballo liquor (alcohol) confiscated from seven perpetrators or sellers.
Head of Samapta Polres Bulukumba AKP Baharuddin said this operation targeted the perpetrators of selling Ballo liquor in the jurisdiction of the Bulukumba Police.
"In this operation, 71 liters of evidence of the Ballo type were confiscated from each of the seven sellers," said AKP Baharuddin, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 10.
The seven perpetrators are AP (45), AS (43), IT (50), MM (58), SA (53), RM (42) and M (54) who are all residents of Ujung Bulu District, Bulukumba Regency.
Some of the confiscated evidence was confiscated and some of it was used as evidence for further investigation.
"Evidence is currently being secured at the Bulukumba Police and the seven perpetrators (sellers) will be questioned for further legal proceedings (Tipiring)," explained AKP Baharuddin.

The police also gave an appeal to the public not to be involved in selling or consuming ballo-type liquor. Because this can trigger disturbances in security and social order.
"Currently, the police will continue to carry out and improve enforcement operations, in order to create a conducive Kamtibmas situation ahead of the 2024 General Election," said AKP Baharuddin.
