The arrival of police officers at the Solo DPC Office of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) in the Purwosari area, Laweyan on Wednesday afternoon, November 8, 2023, was considered an act of intimidation by the state apparatus. The opinion was put forward by the former Deputy Mayor of Solo who is also the Chairman of the Solo PDIP DPC, FX Hadi Rudyatmo.
"I think this is unnatural because whatever the state apparatus does, including the TNI, Polri, ASN, if there is no activity to stop by at the DPC, it is not natural. That afternoon," said Rudy, FX's nickname Hadi Rudyatmo in Solo, Wednesday, November 8.
Based on the explanation from the Surakarta Police Chief, Kombes Iwan Saktiadi, through the video received, the police arrival was not only at the Solo PDIP DPC office. The DPC office from other parties was also visited.
Because according to Kombes Iwan, the activity was based on Law No. 2 of 2022 of the State Police of the Republic of Indonesia regarding maintaining community integrity and security.
"I have said that members are at that location based on Law No. 2 of 2022 of the Indonesian National Police, tasked with ensuring public security and order to protect and protect the community and enforce the law. And one of the ways the police take action is patrols. So the presence of our members there is patrol. " explained Kombes Iwan Saktiadi in a video received by VOI, Thursday, November 11.
