Tina Fey Is Back In The Film Mean Girls Musical, Released In 2024
JAKARTA - Mean Girls, one of the teen films that became a popular cultural phenomenon, is back in the latest version. A musical film of the same name was produced by Paramount Pictures released its first trailer on Wednesday, November 8.
This trailer features several iconic scenes starting from Cady Heron who moved to a new school, meeting Janis and Damian. They introduced Heron to Regina George, the iconic character who became the queen at the school.
Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is a new student at school and is friends with Janis (Aulii Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey). Janis and Damian warned Heron not to get involved or be in touch with Regina George, played by Reneé Rapp.
Regina George has a gang called The Plastics. The problem started when Cady Heron liked Regina's lover, Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney). Slowly, Heron started dealing with Regina George.

From the latest version, only Tina Fey and Tina Meadows have returned to play their previous characters. Tina Fey even produced and wrote her latest film.

The musical Mean Girls film was originally planned for release on Paramount+ before the production house changed its theatrical release on January 12, 2024.
