Similar To TikTok, YouTube Presents Tab For You For Personalized Content
JAKARTA - Similar to TikTok, Google introduced a new 'For You' tab on Home YouTube, which lets you find personalized content, according to your previous viewing history.
"Introducing the "For You" section of your Home tab that recommends a mix of content from your channel to viewers based on the history of their watches," YouTube wrote in its announcement on X on Thursday, November 9.

In addition, the company also says that creators can customize the layout of YouTube channels so viewers can view channel footage, flagship videos, flagship parts, and sections of For You when they open your channel's Homeless tab.
You can activate the availability of features and change the settings in YouTube Studio by selecting Customization > Layout, then checking every hint in the For You section.
This setting allows you to switch whether full-form videos, short videos, and live streaming are available for the feature.

For information, according to Engadget, the company actually introduced the feature in May, and posted it to the Creator Insider channel, a center where YouTube employees had a direct conversation' with YouTubers.
