Minister Of PUPR: Interior Of Presidential Offices In IKN Use Local Products
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono revealed the interior of the State Palace and the Presidential Office in the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago using domestic products.
"The State Palace and the Presidential Office, God willing, have 100 percent of the interior using domestic products," Basuki said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 3.
Basuki said the palace lights and the presidential office were specially designed from Lombok and Boyolali.
Then the palace gates and presidential offices were all designed to implement the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).
"Everyone must use domestic products. For this reason, colleagues and construction service providers and the Ministry of PUPR, all the designs must use domestic products," said Basuki.
He also said that TKDN must be used and encouraged together, or otherwise factories must be in Indonesia if these products cannot be produced in Indonesia.
This aims to make the construction service sector able to create jobs for the people of Indonesia.
The construction of the State Palace and the Presidential Office at IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan is targeted for completion in July 2024 so that the celebration ceremony on August 17, 2024 can be held in the new capital city.
For information, the achievement of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in the development of the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara is above 85 percent.
For TKDN, the achievement is quite high, because IKN development does not use much foreign products and materials. For the time being, in terms of materials, technology choices, building types, infrastructure and facilities built make it possible to use domestic products.
