The logistics for the 2024 General Election in the form of ink imported from Tangerang arrived at the General Election Commission (KPU) Main Warehouse in Semarang City, Central Java, Friday, November 3.
"Today, we received ink for the 2024 General Election. The number is 2,024, because there are 4,646 polling stations (voting stations)," said Semarang City KPU chairman Henry Casandra Gultom in Semarang City, Central Java, Friday, November 3, confiscated by Antara.
A total of 4,646 polling stations in Semarang City, including special polling stations at the Kedungpane Correctional Institution (Lapas) and Semarang Bulu Women's Prison.
After the ink, Henry continued, a ballot booth will be coming which is expected to arrive by the Semarang City KPU on November 6-7.
"Hopefully I don't miss. Then, then the first stages of logistics, such as ballot boxes, polling stations equipment, and so on," he said.
Henry explained that the KPU procurement of logistics for the 2024 General Election was carried out so that the Semarang City KPU only received and supervised it.
"We only accept and supervise. It's different for the regional elections, from the start we checked what the processes were like," he said.

According to him, the Semarang City KPU made the location a holding warehouse for all logistical activities, including receipts, to sorting, and folding ballots.
"Vocation boxes will also be carried out and centered here. After that, they will only be distributed to six electoral districts (electoral districts) in Semarang. So, the main warehouse is here," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Semarang Polrestabes AKBP Wiwit Ari Wibisono said his party had placed a number of personnel to secure logistics for the 2024 General Election at the KPU Main Warehouse Semarang City.
"Indeed, starting today, along with the logistics of the first phase of the election that has been present, security starts today. At least two people every day. Later, there will be an aplus every 12 hours," he said.
Not only conventional security, but security virtually by utilizing surveillance camera devices (CCTV) is also carried out by connecting directly to the Command Center of the Semarang Polrestabes.
"There are seven CCTVs. They are withdrawn to the Command Center of the Polrestabes and will be placed on the Libas (Semarang Great Police) application, so they can monitor CCTV via cellphone," said Wiwit.
