Porsche And Google Expand Service Integration, Give Digital Experience More Fun
JAKARTA - Porsche and Google are expanding their cooperation to enable deeper integration of Google services on Porsche vehicles.
In this effort, Porsche plans to integrate a number of Google services, including Maps, Google Assistant, and various other applications available on the Play Store service.
"In addition to the eternal design and extraordinary performance, customers also want a better digital experience. Therefore, this collaboration is very important," said Oliver Blume, Chair of the Porsche AG Executive Board, as quoted on Porsche's official website, Wednesday, November 1.
This collaboration is expected to provide an unrivaled new experience, which will be built on the Android platform so as to bring about a perfect balance between the latest technology and automotive advantages.
"We have an open approach and continue to develop innovation with leading technology partners," he added.

In terms of Google, Hiroshi Lockheimer, SVP Platform and Ecosystem on Google, expressed his joy at the collaboration with Porsche in their efforts to provide an innovative and beneficial experience in vehicles for customers.
"With an infotainment experience that is integrated with Android, drivers will be able to access the latest Google technology and services along with the best design and branding from Porsche," Hiroshi concluded.
Porsche plans to start implementing this Google system on cars produced by mid-2024.
