PDIP Worried That Narratives Will Be 'Corrupted' If Gibran Fires, Golkar: No Need To Make Melancholics
JAKARTA - The chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Nusron Wahid responded to the statement by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Honorary Affairs, Komarudin Watubun, who was worried that a narrative would "be wronged" if his party fired Gibran Rakabuming Raka after becoming vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto.
Nusron said that Gibran's issue of being fired or not from party membership was entirely PDIP's business. However, according to him, it does not need to be dramatized.
"If you want to be fired, please. That's PDIP's internal rights and affairs. There's no need to make melancholic," said Nusron Wahid to reporters, Wednesday, November 1.
"About the narration of tuned', this is a fact not a 'political Korean drama', so it doesn't use narratives and drama scripts. Everything goes on the basis of facts," he continued.
Nusron assessed that Gibran had shown a gentle attitude as a politician by meeting with the chairman of the PDIP DPP, Puan Maharani to say goodbye. This attitude was taken by President Joko Widodo's eldest son to fulfill the people's call.
"Because there is a call from the people to answer the needs of Indonesia's leadership," said Nusron.

Previously, the Chairman of the Honorary Division of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP, Komarudin Watubun, revealed the reason his party had not taken a firm stance against Gibran Rakabuming Raka who accepted being Prabowo Subianto's vice presidential candidate.
Komarudin believes that if PDIP fires Gibran, he is worried that a narrative will arise.
"If we take firm action, fire him, he will use it later, 'oh, I was wronged', it's been an old song," said Komarudin, Tuesday, October 31.
Komarudin also mentioned the hectic pressure to return the PDIP Membership Card (KTA). According to him, it does not need to be dramatized.
"So actually there doesn't need to be many more plays, you have to give KTA back. If you dare to move there, return KTA, why bother with that," said Komarudin.
