Ganjar-Mahfud Billboards Dismissed Because Jokowi Passed, Senior PDIP: Strange Right?

JAKARTA - Senior PDI-P politician, Major General TNI (ret) TB Hasanuddin, finds it strange that the party flags and billboards depicting Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in Gianyar Regency, Bali, are removed just because President Joko Widodo will pass.

Hasanuddin admitted that he was offended by the removal of billboards along the way to three locations for President Jokowi's working visit, namely Batu Bulan, Gianyar Regency and in the Denpasar City area, Bali.

"As a cadre of the PDI-P, I feel offended by the revocation of Pak Ganjar's billboards and Mr. Mahfud's flag which is a symbol of our pride, only because there is a visit from the president to Bali to review the price. Strange, right?," said TB Hasanuddin to reporters, Wednesday, November 1.

This member of Commission I of the DPR RI also questioned whether there were any rules that were violated so that the billboards and the PDI-P flag were revoked. Moreover, according to him, so far the Island of the Gods is a bull cage.

"It should also be remembered that so far the island of Bali is the basis of the PDI-P mass, so it is only natural that many billboards and PDI-P flags are installed there," said Hasanuddin.

Therefore, Hasanuddin emphasized that his party would conduct an investigation regarding the revocation of billboards and the PDI-P flag. If there is a provocation, he said, then PDIP will not remain silent.

"What is clear is that we will investigate further whether this removal is an attempt to provocation or what. Of course we will not remain silent," he said.

It is known that President Jokowi visited Bali to directly observe the learning process at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati. In addition, the President is also scheduled to review the prices of a number of food commodities in Pasar Bulan, Gianyar Regency.

The President will also hand over food assistance in the form of rice to beneficiaries which will be held at the Batubulan Cultural Center, Gianyar Regency.

Ending a series of working visits in Bali Province, President Jokowi will officially open the World Hydropower Congress 2023. The event was held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Badung Regency.
