YOGYAKARTA - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi paid a working visit to Bali, Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Jokowi and his entourage came to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, at approximately 09.45 Central Indonesian Time (WITA). At the airport, Jokowi was greeted by Acting Governor of Bali S. M. Mahendra Jaya, Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General Harfendi, Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra, Danlanud I Gusti Ngurah Rai Colonel Pnb. Agni Prayogo, and Danlanal Denpasar Marine Colonel I Dewa Nyoman Gede Rake Susilo.
"President Joko Widodo paid a working visit to Bali Province on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. There, the Head of State is scheduled to directly review the learning process at the State Vocational High School (SMK) 3 Sukawati," wrote the official statement of the Presidential Secretariat, Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Along the island of the god, the President is also scheduled to review the prices of several food commodities in Pasar Bulan, Gianyar Regency. Next, the President will also hand over rice-shaped food aid to beneficiaries held at the Batubulan Cultural Center, Gianyar Regency.

The World Hydropower Congress is a hydroelectric power plant congress which is expected to be able to produce solutions and innovations in an effort to strengthen prolonged tourism and prioritize a green economy.
The event is planned to be attended by more than 1000 delegates and 175 high-level speakers from 120 countries. The activity was held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Badung Regency.
Previously, the President and his entourage headed for Bali Province at 07.00 WIB using the Indonesian Air Force Boeing 737-400 aircraft via Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta. Participating in accompanying the President on a flight to Bali Province namely Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Presidential Military Secretary Admiral TNI Hersan, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Rafael Granada Baay, and Plh. Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana.

On the same occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) Eddie Rich said the IHA background put Indonesia as the top priority to host the congress.
"Indonesia has displayed strong leadership and commitment to the sustainable energy transition, including plans to use the great potential of hydropower and other renewables to encourage economic development," Eddie said.
