PDIP Opens If Khofifah And Ridwan Kamil Want To Win Ganjar-Mahfud In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP for the Ideology and Cadreization of the PDI-P (PDIP) Djarot Saiful Hidayat said his party would be open with anyone who intends to participate in winning the presidential and vice presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in the 2024 presidential election, including the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa and former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

This was conveyed in response to Ganjar's statement that he wanted to withdraw Khofifah to Ridwan Kamil to participate in winning him along with Mahfud MD.

"We leave it to him, we leave it to Mr. Ridwan Kamil, Mrs. Khofifah. If you want to join, yes, thank you, we are very happy," Djarot told reporters in Jakarta quoted on Tuesday, October 31.

Djarot said these two figures do have different political vehicles. Ridwan Kamil, for example, is now joining the Golkar Party which supports the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming pair but is considered several times to give a signal of being interested in joining.

"Mr. Ridwan Kamil is also close to us, well, we are building a statue of Bung Karno, it's so big that we also wake up in Morocco, yes, it's amazing," he said.

Mrs. Khofifah too. Mrs. Khofifah is very close to us. So the closeness of ideological closeness, historical closeness is important. So that's it," continued Djarot.

Even so, Djarot reminded anyone who joins to win Ganjar-Mahfud that they must know the interests of the people number one. They must prioritize Indonesia's future.

"Whoever too, this is not only for his benefit, not for Ganjar Mahfud's interests but for future interests," said the member of the DPR RI.

"Those who care about Indonesia's future and aim to be able to realize social justice, we invite to join Pak Ganjar and Prof Mahfud," said Djarot.

As previously reported, Ganjar Pranowo plans to invite Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Ridwan Kamil to support him. He admitted that he had a good relationship with the two figures.

"I communicate continuously every time I go to East Java, my 'Mba Khofifah is here', 'yes, hopefully success' is like that, because I am very good with him," said Ganjar at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Saturday, October 28.

Likewise with Ridwan Kamil, said Ganjar. But this method cannot be done arbitrarily even though he believes these two figures want to join.

"This friend must need help, inner equality so that we can be united. I am the most suitable, yes, with Ganjar-Mahfud, these friends," said the Governor of Central Java.
