There Are 18 Reports Against The Constitutional Court Judge, Most Of Anwar Usman And Saldi Isra
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) Jimly Asshiddiqie said that his party had so far received 18 reports against alleged violations of the code of ethics of constitutional judges in handling material review cases on the provisions of the minimum age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections.
Of the 18 reports, most were reported on behalf of Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman, constitutional judges Saldi Isra and Arief Hidayat.
"So now there have been 18 reports. So we have added two more, today. Of the 18, there were 6 issues. Then there were 9 reported but the most important, the most important, the most was Mr. Anwar Usman, the second Mr. Saldi, the third Mr. Arief, that's the most," said Jimly at the Constitutional Court Building, Jakarta, Monday, October 30.
In addition, said Jimly, there were also reports of judges from the Constitutional Court together with 2 people, 5 people, and 9 people. Jimly said that today the Constitutional Court had examined 9 Constitutional Court judges together and after that they would be examined one by one to be more flexible in providing information.
"The point is we have already explained that the invitation will be held one by one and the possibility is specifically for the chairman (Anwar Usman) twice," said Jimly.

Jimly appealed to the public not to file new reports again, because the 18 reports are many and the substance is not much different. This, said Jimly, is only an appeal and his party will wait for another report until Wednesday, November 1, 2023 afternoon.
"But this is just an appeal. We can't rule out the possibility, right. That's the right of the citizens. But if possible, no later than if someone wants to report, we'll wait for Wednesday afternoon. So on Wednesday afternoon, if possible, that's the last opportunity for the community, anyone who wants to submit a report, after that stop. Please don't again, but this is a moral appeal for our practical work," concluded Jimly.
