Maserati's Luxury Sport Car Offered IDR 5 Billion In Malaysia
JAKARTA - Maserati announced the delivery of the first unit of its newest sports model, MC20 Cielo, to the Malaysian market. This happened a year after the car made its global debut.
MC20 Cielo is a convertible sports car that offers an open roof driving experience to its users. Equipped with a two-stop hardtop, the roof of the car can be opened and closed within 12 seconds, even as the car runs at a speed of 50 km/hour.
Reported by Paultan, Monday, October 30, the roof is equipped with an electrochromic glass window that can change from clear to blurry with just one touch of buttons on the infotainment screen. Although this unique roof feature adds to the weight of the vehicle about 65 kg heavier than the couple model, this advantage does not change the elegant design of the car, including the butterfly doors that are maintained.
The launch version of MC20 Cielo comes with a new three-layer metallic color called Acquamarina, which has a passel gray base with an aquamarine touch that provides interesting color variations.
In terms of features, this model is equipped with a variety of driver assistance systems, including parking sensors, rear-view cameras, and blind spot monitors. Other additional features include autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and rear cameras with a 360-degree display. Sonus Faber's premium sound system with 12 speakers is connected to a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA).
Maserati still uses a 3.0 liter twin-turbo Nettuno or V6 engine that gives a distinctive sound that is clearly heard when the roof opens. This machine is capable of generating up to 621 dk of power and 730 Nm of torque, with the help of a double-coupling transmission of eight accelerations that move the rear wheels.
With this engine configuration, MC20 Cielo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds, with the highest speed reaching 325 km/hour.
