Barcelona Fall In El Clasico, Bellingham Takes Madrid Back To The Top
JAKARTA - Barcelona fell at home in the el clasico match. In the duel against Real Madrid's arch rivals in the La Liga Spain competition at the Olympic Lluis Companys Stadium, Saturday, October 28 evening WIB, Barca fell 2-1. Young star Jude Bellingham picked up two goals that brought Madrid to the top of the standings.
Barca must recognize Madrid's superiority in the classic match. Despite winning first through Ilkay Gundogan's quick goal, Barca instead lost consistency and gave up losing.
Victory over the Blaugrana brought Madrid back to the top of the standings by shifting Girona. Both teams both pocketed the 28 points. Only Madrid were ahead on goal difference so they could meet the target of occupying the top position.
On the other hand, the defeat made Barca fail to improve the rankings. Barca remain in third place with 24 points.
In that match, Madrid itself was hot late. Meanwhile, Barca immediately pressed the Los Blancos defense. Even though Robert Lewandowski, who had just recovered from an ankle injury, could not be started, Barca continued to play openly.
Striker Ferran Torres took over from Lewandowski. He received support from Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix.
Meanwhile, Madrid featured Brazil's duo, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior up front. Bellingham, this time, occupies the position of attacking midfielder.
Through a tight match, Barca managed to take advantage of the profits after Gundogan scored a quick goal. Goals were created when the game had only been running for seven minutes.
The goal started with defender Aurelien Tchouameni who made a blunder. Then David Alaba made a mistake when he was about to throw the ball. Gundogan used this situation well to break into Madrid's goal.
After that goal, Barca actually continued to apply pressure by playing offensively. But Madrid also tried to get up. The classic match also presented an exchange of attacks. The control of the balls of the two teams is balanced.
However, the duo Vinicius and Rodrygo still struggled to penetrate the Barca defense. Vice versa, Barca have not been able to add goals so that the score in the first half remains 1-0 for Los Cules.
In the second half, Barca remained a little ahead in possession. Even the hosts almost extended their lead when Inigo Martinez's header still hit the post. Furthermore, it was Ronald Araujo's turn whose shot was saved by Kepa goalkeeper.
