Meanwhile, the number of Indonesian citizens/PMI-B who were deported by the Malaysian Imigresen Position Sarawak was 3,361 people," said Raden Sigit Witjaksono in a written statement, Antara, Wednesday, October 25.Meanwhile, Sigit continued, 159 Indonesian citizens in Malaysia were repatriated by the Indonesian Consulate General in Kuching."So, the total number of Indonesian citizens/PMI-B who have returned to Indonesia from Sarawak, Malaysia is 3,520 people," said Sigit.Sigit said some time ago, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, he was accompanied by other Indonesian Consulate General in Kuching who had provided deportation assistance for 48 Indonesian citizens/PMI-B."They consist of 32 men and 16 women. They were deported from the Imigresen Semuja Detention Center, Serian, Sarawak through ICQS Tebedu, Sarawak – PLBN Entikong, West Kalimantan," he said.
On the same day, added Sigit, his party also directly monitored the repatriation process of 10 PMI-B people who resigned from the SML Miri company."Regarding this, the company and PT. ACL, who sent the ten PMIBs, have been responsible for their repatriation," concluded Sigit.
