French Open 2023 Starts Today, Here Are 16 Indonesian Representatives Who Are Fighting
JAKARTA A total of 16 Indonesian representatives will fight for the title at the French Open 2023. In the first round, clashes between Red and White representatives were inevitable.
The French Open 2023 starts rolling today, Tuesday, October 24 to Sunday, October 29, 2023. The two women's doubles pairs who took part in the Super 750 BWF event immediately faced each other.
The pair in question is Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti who have to fight their compatriot Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.
The clash in France will be the second meeting between the Indonesian women's doubles. Their only duel before this took place was at the Hong Kong Open 2023, which Apri/Fadia won.
Women's doubles is one of two sectors with the fewest representatives at this year's French Open. Another sector with two representatives is also the women's singles that fielded Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.
Men's doubles numbers are sectors with the most representatives. The pairs sent here are Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, and Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Rambitan.
Following the next are mixed doubles with four representatives, namely Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
Then the last is the men's singles who have three representatives. They are Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Chico Aura Dwi, and Jonatan Christie.
