Crown Witness Claims To Be Afraid To Disburse 4G BTS Project Saweran: Many Strong And Influential People

JAKARTA - Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy, Irwan Hermawan admitted that he had kept his mouth shut about sawerans in the BTS 4G Kominfo project. The reason is that many'strong people' are involved and often get terrorized.

Irwan Herwaman is a crown witness for the accused President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia Galumbang Menak Simanjuntak at the trial of the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G Kominfo.

"Actually, when I was in the BAP, I had not provided these statements, Your Honor. So from the time I became a suspect until May I did not dare to convey it," said Irwan during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday, October 23.

Chief Judge Dennie Arsan Fatrix responded to Irwan's confession and asked him to open the flow of funds for the 4G BTS project.

Before membering about saweran or the flow of funds, Irwan conveyed the reason for keeping his mouth shut. According to him, there are strong and influential people who accept it so he is afraid to say it.

"His Majesty's permission. I finally dared to say, previously I was very afraid to convey where the funds went because they involved strong and influential people," he said.

"And when I started being called to call the investigation until I was detained, my house was often visited by unknown people. I was often followed by people," continued Irwan.

In fact, Irwan began to receive'small' terror. Many foreigners came to his residence without a clear purpose.

"Then when I was arrested, my house was often visited," he said.

Until finally, his courage arose to reveal everything after consulting with his legal adviser.

"Finally, after I consulted with a lawyer and received the threat of potential charges to enrich myself Rp119 billion rupiah, I consulted with a lawyer. And the lawyer told me what it was to the investigators. Finally I ventured," said Irwan.

Meanwhile, there are several parties who are said to have received the BTS project fund flow. For example, the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo worth IDR 27 billion.
