Pelindo Data 68 Sandar List Cruise Ships In Benoa Bali
DENPASAR - BUMN PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) Regional III recorded as many as 68 cruise ships registering for docking at Benoa Port, Bali, which is scheduled for 2024.
"We see that there is a positive interest related to Bali being the market share of the cruise tourism segment," said General Manager of Pelindo Regional III Benoa A A Gede Agung Mataram in Denpasar as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 21.
That number increased compared to the registered January-December 2023 data of 51 cruise ships.
Meanwhile, during January-October 2023, there were 31 cruise ships docked at Benoa Port, Bali.
There are also specifications for all cruise ships that are scheduled to dock in 2024, the average length is above 294 meters.
It is planned that starting in 2024, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line cruise ships serving routes in Southeast Asia, namely from Singapore, will regularly sail to Benoa Harbor in Denpasar and Celukan Bawang Port in Buleleng Regency, North Bali.
"It's on schedule, we have prepared everything. It's not like it used to be once a year but it will stop regularly, several times Singapore, Benoa, Celukan Bawang," he said.
In addition, it is scheduled for October 30, 2023 for the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship with a length of 317 meters docked at Benoa Harbor, Denpasar.

If according to schedule, the luxury ship launched in 2008 will be the first in Indonesia with a size of over 300 meters of docking at Benoa Port, Denpasar, Bali.
"It will be the first for a measure above 300 meters in Indonesia that docks at Benoa Harbor with about 3,000 people including the crew," he said.
The plan is for the cruise ship with a weight of around 121,878 tons to dock in Benoa, Denpasar, for two days 30-31 October 2023 and a number of tourist visit agendas have been drawn up.
Meanwhile, the cruise ship dock at Benoa Port already has a length of 500 meters so that it can accommodate two cruise ships.
