Edward Hutahaean The Threatener Of Buldozer Kominfo And Suspect Of 4G BTS Turns Out To Be A State-Owned Enterprises Commissioner
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said Edward Hutahaean, who is one of the suspects in the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) case, BAKTI Kominfo, has the status of a civil servant. Edward is said to be the commissioner of a state-owned company.
" Edward's status is as a state supervisor. Edward is also a commissioner of PT Pupuk BUMN, his status," said the Head of the AGO, Ketut Sumedana, to reporters, Monday, October 16.
In addition, investigators at Jampidsus are also still investigating the flow of Rp15 billion in funds received by Edward. Meanwhile, the money was obtained from the President Director of PT Mora Telematika, Galumbang Menak, and former Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy, Irwan Hermawan.
"Until now, we have explored the flow of Rp. 15 billion, anywhere," said Ketut.
The name Edward Hutahaean was mentioned by the defendant Galumbang Menak Simanjuntak, as the President Director of PT Mora Telematika in the trial of the BTS Kominfo case at the Central Jakarta District Court Corruption Court in early October 2023.
Galumbang said Edward asked for USD 2 million in connection with securing the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G BAKTI Kominfo.
