3 Months Of Debut, ZEROBASEONE Prints A Record Sales Of 2 Million Albums

JAKARTA - Not a year since ZEROBASEONE has stepped into the music industry, but they have set a new record. In their three months of debut, their debut album was sold for up to two million copies.

Thursday, October 12, Circle Chart awarded a sales certificate of two million albums for the sale of their first mini album, YOUTH IN THE SHADE. They revealed that the album sold 2,034,594 copies as of September 30.

With this, ZEROBASEONE became the first K-pop group in history to sell up to two million copies of the album.

Previously, ZEROBASEONE made history with the first K-pop group to sell one million copies within one day of release. Hanteo Chart announced this news the day after they made their debut.

ZEROBASEONE is a group formed through the Boys Planet event from Mnet and ended last April. The nine members who joined were Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han Bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, Park Gun Wook, and Han Yu Jin.

Under Wake One's agency, their mini album was ordered for more than 780 thousand copies within five days.

Their debut was eagerly awaited by fans, as it proved when they won their first win on a music show on July 18, 18 days after they debuted.

ZEROBASEONE also held its first concert at Gocheok Sky Dome last August with 18,000 audiences.

On the other hand, ZEROBASEONE will release its second mini album, Melting will launch on November 6.
