Aceh Police Destroy 112 Kilograms Of Shabu
The Aceh Regional Police (Polda) destroyed 112 kilograms of methamphetamine from the disclosure of international narcotics networks.
The destruction of the prohibited items was led by the Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Achmad Kartiko at the Aceh Police Headquarters, in Banda Aceh, Wednesday, October 11.
The destruction was also attended by a number of officials, both the TNI and the Aceh Government and vertical agencies.
The destruction of methamphetamine was carried out by mixing it with sulfate acid. Then it was destroyed with a cement complainant machine and dumped into a water sewer.
Before being destroyed, the methamphetamine in the package was taken randomly to be tested by the POM Center officer in Banda Aceh. The test results of positive samples contain methamphetamine known as methamphetamine.
The Aceh Police Chief said the destroyed methamphetamine-type drugs were the result of the disclosure of international networks by the Aceh Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate and the Banda Aceh Police Narcotics Investigation Unit.
"Drug destruction is the commitment of the Aceh Police to eradicate drugs. We are not playing with drugs, including if there are members, strict action will be taken," he said.

The Kapolda expressed concern because drugs continued to enter Aceh. Aceh has become the entry point for international drug networks and is then circulated in various cities in Indonesia.
Achmad Kartiko said the Aceh Regional Police and the ranks throughout 2023 had uncovered 1,213 narcotics cases with 1,635 suspects, consisting of 34 women and 1,601 men.
"Meanwhile, the evidence that was secured consisted of 334.4 kilograms of marijuana, 132.6 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, and 1,890 ecstasy pills. The number of cases revealed proves that the circulation and abuse of narcotics and illegal drugs in Aceh Province is very widespread," he said.
