West Java Acting Governor Ensures BIJB Kertajati's Readiness For Flight October 29
MAJALENGKA - Acting (Pj) Governor of West Java Beyvi Machmudin stated that West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati in Majalengka Regency is ready to carry out commercial flight activities on October 29, 2023.
"There is already readiness and we are sure that on October 29, 2023, the jet flight will continue to run which is transferred from Husein Airport," said Bey at BIJB Kertajati Majalengka as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.
Bey explained that this readiness was not only seen in the facilities available at BIJB Kertajati, but also the accessibility of the connected route from the toll road to the flight facility with relatively fast travel time.
He said that if the flight activities from Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung had been diverted, the public could compare the difference in travel distance to BIJB Kertajati with other airports themselves.
"We used the Damri Bus earlier, the simulation is in accordance with the passengers who will use the plane at Kertajati. We do not use escort, 1 hour 30 minutes," he said.
When BIJB Kertajati was operating, Bey said passengers could use transportation modes such as Damri Bus at a price of Rp. 80,000 for one departure.
"At the opening, there will be discounts," he said.

"So starting October 29, at Husein Airport there will be no more jet flights," he said.
