The Latest City Model Comes With Honda Sensing Safety Technology
JAKARTA - Honda City is known as a sedan that has driving comfort that can meet daily mobility needs. Most recently, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) announced the presence of Honda Sensing technology in this model.
Honda Sensing is a series of safety technologies for passengers and drivers on the Honda model. This system will alert automatically if there are dangerous actions to reduce the risk of accidents.
"New Honda City presents various displays and safety features that will provide more value to meet the needs of Honda consumers in Indonesia," said Yusak Billy Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM, in a statement received by VOI, Monday, October 9.
The existing Honda Sensing technology in New Honda City includes Collision Mitigation Brake SystemTM (CMBSTM), Auto-High Beam (AHB), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACK).
In addition to the security feature, the subcompact sedan has a security feature in the form of a Walk Away Auto Lock. This system can lock the vehicle when the user leaves the vehicle.
Japanese manufacturers also enrich the lighting system with LED Fog Light, Full LED Headlight, and LED Daytime Running Light (DRL). The rim is also updated with a size of 16 inches of alloys that have a sporty impression.
Meanwhile, this sedan cabin is equipped with a 4.2-inch screen of the new Interactive TFT Meter and Auto Headlight. The second row is also equipped with two USB-C slots, making it easy for passengers to charge their devices.
Despite displaying some of the latest changes, the manufacturer still maintains a 1.5 liter DOHC i-VTEC engine in New Honda City, resulting in 121 ps of power and 145 Nm of torque.
