Tim Gabungan Kembali Dapat Satu Pucuk Senjata Milik TNI Di Serambakon
The joint TNI-Polri team again received a firearm type belonging to the TNI from a resident's house in Serambakon, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains, Saturday (7/10) night.
Kapolres Gunung Bintang Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Muhammad Davi Bustomi told ANTARA in Wamena, Jayawijaya Regency, Sunday, that the pistol-type firearm was found after members conducted a sweep around Kampung Modusit, Serambakon District.
"It has been confirmed that it belongs to the TNI who was brought by the MI 16 helicopter pilot who had an accident while on the Oksibil-Jayapura flight in 2019," he said.
In addition to securing a firearm of the type of gun, officers also secured dozens of ammunition. Currently, firearms and ammunition have been secured at the Bintang Mountains Police Headquarters in Oksibil.
"The pistol was found in a sack filled with rice," he added.

During the firefight, five KKB members were killed and their bodies were buried at the Oksop TPU.
The KKB members who died were Neas Ati Mimin, who was the deputy head of the Kodap intelligence sector, Otto Kasiska, Alexs Lepki, and Tarkus Akmer.
