Prabowo Says Samawi's Support Increases His Spirit In Facing The Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate (readpres) from the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto stated that the support of Jokowi's Young Ulema Solidarity (Samawi) increased his enthusiasm to participate in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation.

"I feel with Samawi with me, we are able to face challenges, we are able to continue Pak Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s struggle, and we will achieve the ideals of Indonesia Gold 2045," Prabowo said when receiving a declaration of support from Samawi at his residence in South Jakarta, Saturday (7/10) night, quoted by Antara.

Prabowo said that he was ready to continue President Jokowi's program to create an Indonesia that was respected by other nations, independent, and without poverty if elected in the 2024 presidential election.

He emphasized that he did not hesitate to continue Jokowi's policy because he saw that the PDI-P politician always took decisions that sided with the interests of the people even though there was a lot of pressure to face.

"Therefore, I pray to be given strength by God Almighty to be able to realize the dreams of all of you (if I am elected later)," he said.

He also said that he prayed that he would not disappoint the Indonesian people if given the mandate to lead Indonesia later.

For information, the Samawi volunteers expressed their support for Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election.

General Chairperson of Samawi Muhammad Nahdy said that this declaration was the result of a deliberation held the previous night which was attended by kiai, ajengan, and the teacher from the Jokowi volunteer group.
