"This is a semi-permanent category building, which burned an area of about 3,000 square meters," said Head of Gulkarmat Satriadi to reporters, Wednesday night, October 4.
The firefighters who received the report immediately deployed 34 fire engines and 158 personnel to the location to address the problem.
Obstacles faced during the blackout, he said, were very far access to water sources and semi-permanent building materials that were flammable.
"The material material is indeed flammable and piled up with zinc, so indeed we are a bit difficult for us to extinguish. We have to first unravel the burned material and it takes time," he said.
