Summoned As Witness In The Ministry Of Agriculture Case, Febri Diansyah Admits He Has Not Received A Call Letter From The KPK
JAKARTA - Former spokesman for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Febri Diansyah admitted that he had not received a summons as a witness regarding the corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). In fact, he is scheduled to provide information today, Monday, October 2.
"Until today, we have not received any summons," said Febri in a written statement received by VOI, Monday, October 2.
Likewise with Rasamala Aritonang, continued Febri. The former KPK employee has not yet received a summons to be examined as a witness.
Even so, Febri emphasized that he would fulfill the summons related to the Ministry of Agriculture's case. They will clarify.
"One of them is related to where the letter was sent and the position as a lawyer written in the WA information," he said.
Previously, the anti-corruption commission began to summon witnesses in corruption cases at the Ministry of Agriculture. In addition to summoning Febri and Rasama, investigators will also ask for Donal Fariz's statement.
The three of them are now known to work together in the Visi Law Office as lawyers.
The summoning of witnesses was carried out after the KPK raised the status of alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture to investigate. The KPK team has searched the official residence of Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo at Widya Chandra, South Jakarta.
During the search, tens of billions of rupiah and firearms were found in the form of a gun. The KPK said the investigators would analyze the findings of the money for confiscation. Meanwhile, firearms will be taken care of by the police.
