KPK Finds Money While Searching The Ministerial Office House In Widya Chandra
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found money while searching the ministerial official residence in Widya Chandra, South Jakarta on September 28-29.
This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in response to the news that the money counter was brought by investigators to Widya Chandra. The official residence was allegedly occupied by the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
"(The number, red) so far is tens of billions," Ali said at a press conference at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, September 29.
Ali has not specified the exact number. This is because investigators are still doing the calculations.

Meanwhile, regarding Syahrul's status as a suspect, the anti-corruption commission is still economical. Ali said the announcement would be made during the forced detention attempt.
"That who is named a suspect, what the construction of the case is like, it must be time for the KPK to convey it to friends (media, ed), to the community," he said.
"Because the case is currently ongoing.... Yesterday there was a search (at the official residence, ed) and continued the search at the Ministry of Agriculture. So it's still early so we can't tell what material is," he concluded.
