Elon Musk Will Turn Platform X Into A Paid App

JAKARTA Elon Musk made a surprising announcement after alluding to plan X, previously Twitter, becoming a mandatory paid app in the future.

Musk said that X will charge a small nominal monthly fee for all its users. This change in X-platform to a paid application is done to combat bot problems.

The bot costs one-tenth a penny. Even if (the bot maker) has to pay a few dollars, the effective cost of the bot is very high," Musk said at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, quoted by The Hill.

Musk also explained that bot makers need to register a new payment method for each existing bot so that X can limit the use of bots and get rid of fake accounts on the platform.

Although he has revealed his plan, Musk has not explained in detail how small the cost he means. Musk also did not explain the differences between ordinary users and Premium X users if both paid.

This plan is not yet clear when it will begin to be realized. However, this paid X news will be one of the debates among X users because Musk often creates pro-contra features.
